91福利社Grade 7 Social Studies is designed to introduce students to the Asia region. 听Students will examine the history, geography, government and economics of Asia, focusing on South Asia, East Asia and Southeast Asian countries. 听Students will be challenged to make connections between the past and the modern-day, and potential impact on their own lives. 听A large portion of the year will also be dedicated to National History Day. 听Students choose topics based on the yearly theme and their own interests, research their topic thoroughly and create unique end-products to share their learning. 听Select students may even have the opportunity to showcase their projects at the South Asia regional competition. 听This course follows a modified version of the Georgia State Standards of Excellence for Social Studies.
